The goal is to cover as many kilometers as possible during the competition period. After each session, read the distance from the bike or pedals and enter it into the Motiview laptop.
Who Can Participate
- Minimum age: 55 years (no upper age limit).
- Participants must be connected to a care service (e.g., long-term care homes, day activity centres, senior centres, home care services). Employees and relatives are not eligible.
- Cycling must take place at the care home, day activity centre, or similar location — not at home.
- Teams must have an active Motiview license to participate. If multiple licenses exist within the same building, each license counts as a separate team. This ensures fairness, regardless of the size of the facility. (Note: You may participate without a license only in your first year.)
- Each team must have at least one bicycle that records distance.
- Both arm and leg cycling are allowed.
Prizes & Recognition
- World champions are crowned in three categories: team, men, and women.
- The top three in each category receive a certificate and a large trophy.
- All participants, no matter the distance achieved, will be awarded a medal and a certificate.
